The deputy announcement must be made after the old deputy has died, or there is otherwise a vacancy in the position. Sometimes a new deputy may be announced if the previous deputy is missing or if it's unclear if they are alive.
In the Ivory Talons, the ceremony goes as follows:
I say these words before the Celestial Canopy so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (Clan) is (cat's name).
In the Ridge Fangs, the ceremony goes as follows:
I say these words before the Clan so that they may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (Clan) is (cat's name).
When being given a full name as an oracle, the ceremony is usually done within the Saturn Hollow at the half moon meeting. This occasionally will not be done and the ceremony will be done in front of the Clan, but only under extremely rare circumstances, such as the head oracle being injured, leaving only the leader to do it.
The ceremony goes as follows in the Ivory Talons:
Oracle: I, (name), oracle of (Clan), call upon my ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (They) have trained hard to understand the ways of an oracle, and with your help (they) will serve (their) Clan for many moons.
Oracle: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of an oracle, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Oracle: Then by the powers of the Celestial Canopy, I give you your true name as an oracle. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new name). Celestials honour your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full oracle of (Clan).
The full ceremony goes as follows in the Ridge Fangs:
Oracle: I, (name), oracle of (Clan), call upon my peers to look upon this apprentice. (They) have trained hard to understand the ways of an oracle, and with your help (they) will serve (their) Clan for many moons.
Oracle: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the ways of an oracle, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Oracle: Then I give you your true name as an oracle. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new name). We honour your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full oracle of (Clan).
Apprenticeship usually lasts six moons, but on occasion a cat will be made a warrior early, or a warrior later. The apprentice must first pass an assessment before they are allowed to get their warrior name. The ceremony is different in each Clan.
In the Ivory Talons, it goes as follows:

Kits may become an apprentice at the age of six moons.
The warrior and forgers apprentice’s ceremony goes as follows:
Leader: (Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your full name, you will be known as (new name) of (Clan). Your mentor will be (name of mentor). I hope (mentor) will pass down all they know on to you.
Leader: (Mentor), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be (quality) and (quality). You will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to (apprentice).
The oracle apprentice’s ceremony takes place at the Saturn Hollow, during the half moon meeting. The Ridge Fangs ceremony has been modified to remove mentions of the Celestial Canopy; however, a particularly faithful oracle in the Ridge Fangs may use the original that the Ivory Talons still use.
Oracle: (Apprentice), is it your wish to enter the mysteries of the Celestial Canopy as an oracle?
Apprentice: It is.
Oracle: Then come forward.
Oracle: I present this apprentice to the Celestial Canopy. Grant them your wisdom and insight so that they may heal their Clan in accordance to your will.
In the Ridge Fangs, the ceremony goes as follows:
Oracle: (Apprentice), is it your wish to serve your Clan as an oracle?
Apprentice: It is.
Oracle: Then come forward.
Oracle: I present this apprentice to my peers. Grant them your wisdom and insight so that they may heal their Clan well.
